FRN to Spotlight Mental Health for First Responders in May Programming

First Responders Network (FRN) is proud to announce that it will be observing Mental Health Awareness Month throughout May 2023. The focus of this year’s observance is honoring the mental health and wellness of first responders, their families, and the community.

To mark the occasion, FRN will be featuring mental health-related content in their original and co-produced programming. Each week, viewers can tune in to inspiring stories of support and learn ways to promote mental wellness in their own communities.

The programming will launch on May 1, 2023, and continue throughout the month. Some of the topics for and about first responders that will be covered include:

• Coping mechanisms
• Support for the mental health of their families
• PTSD and trauma recovery
• The impact of first responder work on mental health
• Community outreach and resources for mental health support

FRN is committed to promoting mental health awareness and support for all members of the community, particularly those who put their lives on the line every day to keep our communities safe. Join us as we celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month and work to destigmatize mental health challenges in the first responder community.
