This Pilot Episode takes you through the streets of San Francisco as Firefighter/ Paramedic Justin Schorr and UK Paramedic Mark Glencorse discuss the differences between their two systems and runs calls in an American EMS System.

This EMS Reality Series – San Francisco takes you through the lives of the men and women of the San Francisco Fire Department Emergency Medical Services Division.  Some of what will be shown is dramatic, some heroic, others will change your perspective on how healthcare is delivered in the pre-hospital setting.  It is often said “you just can’t make this up”, we intend on sharing the reality of our world with the rest of the world.  While what we see daily isn’t the norm for most people we still have to decompress, we still have to come home to our families and it is Beyond the lights and Sirens that defines us in our lives.

      Is this a real comment if so please tell me what you are running OSX 10.6 on.  I have 3 of these and it has been running for me.

        yes it is a real comment. I just tried this link too and it doesn’t load either.

          firefox 3.6.1.3,  safari 5.0.2 on OSX 10.6.6 on a Mac Pro. You can check the site logs and verify this. Neither video will play for me. I tried from a redirect from a facebook link and tried putting the url in myself and neither worked. the email listed is not my own because I didn’t know if the site would spam me or not

    im a 20 y/o young aspiring FF/EMT found out about this through the FF workshop at los po and watching this i actually got to see what im learning in class, in this giant book will be applied and in what areas i need to improve on. not just bare basics but the systems as a whole and it was really cool to watch. thank you so much.
