Air Ambulance Specialists, Inc.

Part of my time in Denver, Colorado was spent with a crew from Air Ambulance Specialists, Inc.  This division of AMR is a fairly recent acquisition and there is an amazing story behind this operation.  I had the distinct pleasure of meeting several of the people that have been with the companies for years and have them tell me not only their stories, but stories of a few patients lives they have impacted.  Beau Brooks, Communications Center Manager was simply an inspiration to listen to.  He gave me an insight into the air transport business that made me feel it wasn’t about bottom dollar.  It simply about providing a better service for people.  I learned about a family that had an accident in Mexico and simply did not have any way to get back to the states, but Beaux found a way to make it happen.  Once you see his interview you will be mesmerized as I was.  It is about the stories of these patients and his goal is to get to know these patients and their families so he can provide complete care.
